I enrolled in french lessons at the Alliance Française here in Bogota, Colombia. Lessons are 6:30pm to 8:30pm Monday to Friday. I'm now at A1.2 (module 2 of 15). In the past, I tried learning on my own. But turns out I'm not the most disciplined person out there. So in the mean time, I decided to enroll in something that pushes me actively. So far it's been great, people are amazing and I feel excited to learn new stuff!

I'm building Ocapi full-time. We're getting some feature requests so the backlog is pretty busy. We're using Next.js but I'm thinking of migrating it to something like Ruby on Rails 😅. I haven't been the most dedicated recently. But I want to push-forward so our customers can love us 😬.

I built a small website that aggregates some relevant timer metrics. I use Toggl so its just a bunch of organized API calls. It motivates me as every second of progress contributes to some chart. Thus, if I have a bad week, Sunday night will still contribute to the month / year / lifetime charts. I like the message it gives of "every second actually counts".
📕 reading
I'm currently reading Alex Hormozi's "100M deals" and Chip Huyen's "AI Engineering". I'm taking notes for each chapter of the AI book. You can find the notes for chapter 1 here. AI seems to be here to stay so I better learn it properly 🥲.
🏎️ rocket league
I'm playing Rocket League every Monday with my friends from Canada and US. We're trying to get to Platinum (currently at Gold III). I'm thinking of getting a Mini PC so I can play modded training tracks.
